Stet School Philosophy

Stet believes that the foundation of education directly revolves around the existence of an atmosphere of trust, understanding, and respect, in order to foster the learning process.  We must provide students with the opportunities and experiences necessary for a worthwhile and productive life in an ever-changing society.

Stet School Values

The purpose of identifying the values for a school is to articulate and promote attitudes, behaviors, and commitments that must exist to create the future.  Values describe how we intend to operate on a day-to-day basis as we pursue our vision.

  • Each person can learn.
  • Each person is a unique individual whose needs must be addressed in the educational process.
  • Learning is a life-long process.
  • The community, families, staff and students are essential partners in the educational process.
  • A safe, caring, environment is required for quality teaching and learning.
